“Hello Mahathir PM of Malaysia,
The children of all races were mixing pretty well in the English medium schools. But when you decided to make everyone stupid by introducing an ill-prepared half-baked Malay medium education for everyone, the non-Malay parents who realised their children’s future was at stake decided to send their children to their respective vernacular schools where the quality of education was far better.

Today thanks to your ridiculous education policy, parents are having to fork out tens of thousands of ringgit extra as fees to international schools, to follow an English medium syllabus, something which the mission schools of yesteryear run by dedicated missionaries offered for a mere pittance. On top of the excellent academic instruction, their holistic approach to education built the character, behaviour and attitude of the students – something that is totally absent in today’s Malay medium schools. The fact that Malays are not able to stand tall in the global arena speaks volumes about the poor quality of the Malay medium education system. The Malays know they have a lousy education system but the subsidy mentality that has been ingrained in them makes them stick to whatever rubbish is thrown at them because unlike non-Malay parents, the Malay parents think the govt owes them a living and by extension the duty to educate their children. Non-Malay parents on the other hand sweat and toil and sacrifice their hard-earned money to ensure their children get a proper education and hopefully better job opportunities.

As for people identifying themselves by ethnicity and not as Malaysians, I dare you to pass a law saying that from now on all Malaysians born will be registered as MALAYSIAN and not identified by their ethnicity. Are you willing to do it Mahathir? Many of the Chinese and Indians born in this country have never stepped foot in China or India but you insist on classifying them as such – and then you blame the people for identifying themselves by their ethnicity. What utter nonsense!”
